Without question, one of the deepest litters of the crop last summer was the 245 litter sired by Absolute. The male side of the litter was white – oddly enough – and the female side of the litter covered nearly every color under the sun. The dam of the 245’s is the impressive blue sow that sells as Lot 37, a full sister to Lot 38 and a daughter of one of those black headed, End Game sows that sold in the ’23 BTB Sale. This boar has always been stout, bulky and broad – characteristics that have been consistent with Absolute progeny where a Crickets’ daughter can be found on the bottom side. We’re not entirely sure how many colors this one will sire, but that aside, we’re confident he’ll make better show pigs.
