Intriguing member of the boar battery on The Hill and one that is getting chances to make pures and crosses alike. He’s sired by a George Watson-bred boar that resides in Utah and backed by a very impressive daughter of Yeti that was bred here. We’ll stop short of calling ourselves Yorkshire enthusiasts, however, we do believe whole heartedly, that the crossbred population can improve with the right influx of Yorkshire blood – especially the highly sought after light cross category. Not to stand on a soapbox, but a quick review of current popular pedigrees in the “White” department will leave you scratching your head because many of the sires (and maternal sires) are all BELTED! We’re confident this young sire can play a role in the Yorkshire breed AND any effort to make better crossbreds.
