A smashed, half-toe kept this one from barrow consideration and in hindsight, we’re glad we had legitimate reason to say no – multiple times. His mother found the backdrop as a show gilt and his grandmother is a feature in this years BTB Sale, a sow that just produced the Champion Light Cross Barrow at ’24 San Angelo. Maternal sibs to this boar sired by Pace Car were well received in the ‘24 Spring Showcase, one of which already grabbed a banner at a recent Indiana jackpot show. Nubs shares many of the same qualities that made his sire so easy to admire and our confidence in his ability is substantiated by the sows behind him.
