HH SUMMER INTERNSHIP
For several years, we’ve been fortunate to have incredible interns at the farm during the summer. Some have used their experience on The Hill to launch their own show pig endeavors, others have used what they learned to pursue careers off the farm. Regardless of their next step, the experience here at Heimer Hampshires was the very definition of ‘doing to learn’.
Once again, we are seeking two interns for the summer months who will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, providing opportunities to learn and grow. Historically, intern roles have been divided between the farrowing effort and show barn routine; roles will be assigned based on interest, experience and skill set. Internships are based in Taylor, MO at the farm. Housing is provided and pay will align with experience, effort and enthusiasm.
