Allie Doise
Graduated May 2014
Currently attending Louisiana State University
Allie believes that the barn was her biggest “life” classroom up until this point and that one of the most important lessons that she learned was that sometimes you gain more from losing than you do from winning.
“I can honestly say that showing has made me who I am today. It has helped me prepare for my future in so many ways. My involvement with showing instilled a strong work ethic in me, and taught me values that I should keep a priority in all of my future endeavors.”
She wants to share this word of advice with those still showing, “Make every second of your experience count because it will be over before you know it.”
Most Memorable HH Moment: When I won my district show with a blue butt from Mr. Jesse. I rode in the trailer with my pig and I was crying the whole way because I didn’t want her to leave my barn.
Allie recently wrote of very well received blog post for Sure Champ’s blog titled “Hogs Raise Kids”. Read the post here: http://surechamp.com/2015/03/04/hogs-raise-kids/
